SHOULD ADULTEROUS - WOMAN BE CONSIDERED A VICTIM ?
The National Commission for Women has shot down proposals
for amending Section 497 so that women can be prosecuted for adultery.
The Commission had been asked by the Government to review Section 497 which does not envisage prosecution of the wife by the husband for adultery. According to NCW sources, the Commission does not feel that by prescribing punishment for women by amending Section 497, the marriage can be protected or saved. The NCW has stated that considering the relatively socially
dis-empowered position of women, the Commission considers adulterous woman is not criminal . she is the victim.
The commission appears to be run by sick minds and persons blinded by illusions of female as being a passive victim of everything bad in society and home.

of AIDS in the world.Muslim countries have the lowest rate of AIDS ( 1 in 1000 ) even less than USA ( 4 in 1000). J&K has lowest AIDS cases in India due to Majority Muslim Population

The Institute of marriage is not only Legal Bond; but it is also Legacy of cultural heritage with sanctity of value system.

Social and family order is more important than individual rights.;
and woman's sexuality should be sacrificed to ensure legitimacy.
Ages of experience have taught us that commitment of a husband
and wife to love and to serve to one another promotes the welfare of children and the stability of society.
In view of above facts The Adulterous-Woman cannot be
accepted as "Victim" but must be treated as "Criminal.
The Oldest Profession of the world came in existence due to
such women which they now call "Sex Workers" who are also
responsible for spread of AIDS and they are actively supported
